A hot yellow-gold desert with hazy mountains in the background. Sticking up out of the sand is a pole with a beam sticking off it, kind of like a mailbox post. Sitting on the beam is an odd character: heavyset, dressed all in brown with a few sundry patches, wearing cowboy boots and a hat with a brim. Sticking out of the hat is a yellow feather. The figure has an oddly angular face: a long, blocky nose and empty eyes. It looks like a mask. The figure is holding a blazing white ball in its hand, staring at it. The sun sits low on the horizon, also a blazing white ball. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".
