A person walks into what appears to be the mouth of a cave. The area outside the cave is dark purple; the inside of the cave blazes with red and orange firelight, although the fire itself is not visible. The person is illuminated on one side by the firelight, and they are casting a huge, distorted purple shadow against the cave wall. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

The tall, rocky archway of the mouth of a cave. You're standing inside the cave, looking out. In front of you is a small figure, silhouetted in the opening, holding up a glowing yellow torch. The figure is about a third of the height of the cave opening. The opening looks out onto the ocean and the blue sky beyond. The floor of the cave is brown, the rocks are gray.

Three large fragments of rock, surrounded by smaller bits and pieces. The three largest pieces have a human eye, looking towards the center part of the work. At the center stands a small figure, holding a lantern. The placement of the three large rocks with eyes in them forms a cavelike passageway, and the lantern-holding figure appears to be exploring the cave.
