A desolate scene: Jesus, in a white robe and halo, sits in an armchair in a darkened apartment lit only by the white glare of a flatscreen television. The entire scene is a dull bluish-green. Hanging on the wall above are the letters “Happy Birthday”, and a few stars, all of which have the effect of making the scene appear even less festive than it would be without these decorations. The painting is signed “Chris Silverman”.
