The figure is holding onto a thin white string that extends from the bottom of the balloon, as though it is an actual balloon. The figure appears to be born along by the balloon. Inside the balloon is a strange creature that looks like something between a bird and a moth. It has wide, batlike wings that have an iridescent greenish-yellow sheen, a short, tapering body, and two curving antennae. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".
