A barren wasteland under a yellow sky. Sticking up from the ground is a tall, rocky pillar about the size of a small house. The right side of the pillar is lit orange with what looks like a rising or setting sun. Most of the pillar is in shadow. On the left side, a small figure with a shovel has taken a major chunk out of the base of the pillar. The figure is standing on a pile of rubble. Sitting precariously on the top of the pillar is a large television set: the old kind, the cathode ray tube kind. The TV is about the size of a garden shed and is displaying bluish static. In the background are blurry orange suggestions of other distant rocky formations. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".
