A portrait of someone from the neck up. The head is slightly blurry, the facial features blank and indeterminate. Half of the face is in shadow. The only striking detail is a sharp, prominent nose; the eyes are just hollows, and the face is mostly smooth, like a store mannequin. The only hint of anything in the person's face is the slanted brows that suggest they are scowling. The drawing is black ink on a yellow-orange background.
