At first glance, a small, shed-like building with a weathervane on top. The sky is gray and dark; the orange sunlight from an unseen sun comes in at an oddly low angle, as though the sun is either rising or setting. But the strangest thing is the building itself. The perspectives just don't add up. A staircase descends from the right side, extending past the left wall, which is either facing outward or inward, depending on which part of it you're looking at. At the top of the stairs on the right wall stands a small figure, reflecting the sunlight. Peering out of an archway on the left wall stands a very large figure. This took me way too long to do, even longer to explain, and even though I loved Escher as a kid, I'm pretty sure he never attempted any of this on an iPhone.
