A person sits on a dark, planetlike sphere hanging in a blue, starry sky. The sphere is about the size of a small house relative to the person. The person is sitting at a small round cafe table, illuminated by a ceiling lamp hanging from above. What the lamp is attached to is not clear. In the sky to the right is a crescent moon.

2024/06/24

The cavernous industrial interior of a spaceship. The walls appear to be made of some harsh, concrete-gray substance, and have various odd striations and geometric formations. The floor is flat and gray. In the lower right is a circular pipe or something in the wall; in the top right, there are three glowing vertical bars of greenish-white light. In the center is a huge round window through which is visible a black, deep-space sky full of stars and a blue planet. The planet has a slight blue color to it, and does not look like there is any life on it. Sitting on the lower part of the window is a gray cat with its tail hanging down, looking out through the window.

A cloudy sunrise or sunset. Waves of red clouds hover over a ragged mountainous horizon. Hanging in the sky is an enormous planet, partially covered by clouds and lit from below by the sun. This is a primarily red and black painting.

A small pond surrounded by dark woods. It's late afternoon, and the clear blue sky above the treeline is starting to get pink. There are no visible clouds. The pond is clear and reflective; a low fog hovers over it. In the sky hang two planets, both a ghostly white the way the moon is when it's out during the day. One planet is huge, and looms over the scene. The more distant one is closer to the horizon. Arcing into the sky, cutting between them, is the tiny white dot of a rocket ship, smoke billowing out behind it. A few birds are visible flitting over the trees.

A view from the surface of a moon. Not necessarily ours. A vast, barren, rocky landscape with a crater or two. A mountain range is dimly visible in the background. On the right is a cliff, with a few structures on it: something like a lighthouse, or smokestack, and a construction of iron girders. In the sky over the landscape hangs a large planet that is clearly occupied, given the visible outlines of continents formed by pinpoints of light. Another, smaller planet is visible farther away. The sky is filled with stars, forming a Milky-Way-like strip.

2023/04/26

A barren, scrubby hill. On it is a crumbling stone arch, as though a building was removed with only the doorway left behind. Standing in the arch is a figure with a large eye on its chest. The figure also has a head with two long, batlike ears and glowing eyes. Surrounding both the archway and the figure is a tall, chicken-wire fence, the sort of thing you might see placed around some off-limits facility. The fence is tattered and has a small sign affixed to it, the letters too small to read. Above all of this is a giant, ghostly planet; imagine if the moon were a lot closer to earth than it actually is. There are a few wispy clouds in the sky.
