An environment that is mostly red and yellow flames. The ground is a reddish blur with slight darker tones, and appears to be an inferno. Above, in the top right, is a glowing white flaming square with a red question mark in it, similar to the power-up boxes in the Mario universe. Below, slightly to the left, is a gray stone block of the same size with greenish highlights. Placed on top of it is a circular glinting treasure, something between a gold coin and a glass bead. In the lower left corner, standing directly in the inferno, is a small figure with a flaming white halo above its head. Above it, high in the sky, circles a large birdlike figure. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A yellow sky with orange clouds; beneath it,a flat orange-brown plain. On the right of the painting is a tall, perfectly vertical wall with a small arched doorway in it. At the very top of the wall is a horizontal rod with a large bell hanging from it. Also hanging from it is a small sign, suspended just above the doorway, with the word "Goal" on it. The wall is a red-brown color, with the front face reflecting orange. Running towards the doorway is the silhouette of a person. One level down, who knows how many to go. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A large meadow with tall grass and wildflowers. The sky is a very pale, mostly white blue. In the distance is the blurry hint of a tree line. Hovering in the air is a stone cube with a question mark carved into it; an object that should be familiar to anybody who's played Mario. The cube is covered with vegetation and has moss hanging from below. Colored butterflies flutter around it. On the ground, someone approaches the cube holding a ladder. The ladder does not look long enough to reach the question mark. A few birds circle high in the sky.

2023/03/26

Evening: that time when it's not yet dark and the world is a deep blue. A hiker out in some barren wilderness stumbles on three large black boxes stacked on each other. Above them floats a glowing white box with a question mark in it. All the boxes look like they're from a level in one of the classic Mario platform games.
