A hill at sundown. The upper part of the sky is starry and dark blue, fading to a golden glow on the horizon, especially on the right side. Sitting on top of the hill is a classic Macintosh computer, the size of a building. Its screen is facing to the right, and appears to be mostly dark except for a single white dialogue box in the middle of the screen. It's not clear what the dialogue box says, but anyone who's used a Mac in the 80s or 90s will recognize this as the "it is now safe to switch off your Macintosh" message. While the computer is mostly in silhouette, the right edge is illuminated by the last rays of sunlight. On the left side, a small door is open at the base of the computer, revealing golden light from inside. A figure stands silhouetted in the doorway. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

An irregular geometric shape on a purple background. On the right side is the abstracted profile of a human face that should be familiar to anyone who used a Mac in the 80s or 90s. The shape is a mix of red, yellow, and iridescent blue, and has many straight lines connecting to it. The lines look like lines on a printed circuit board.

An irregular, vaguely oval shape, like a scrap of cloth or a hole. On the left side of the shape is a highly simplified human face in profile; the "talking head" icon designed by Susan Kare for pre-OS X Macintosh computers. The eye is a vertical line, the nose is a simple rectangle, and the mouth is another line. On the right is a very tall speech bubble with no speech inside it. The bubble is blurry around the edges and slightly dimensional, as though it's dissolving into fog.

A figure wearing a black cloak and boots. The figure's head is square and minimal, seen in profile; it's eye is a triangle with an exclamation point. A speech balloon with a hand—a "stop icon" hand—appears above its head. You know those icons that appeared on Mac dialog boxes back in the 80s and 90s? This character looks like it's assembled from those icons.

A black and white sketch of the immortal Happy Mac icon: a simple line drawing of a 1980s-era all-in-one Mac, with a happy face displayed on its screen.

The Happy Mac icon, with that scripty "hello" message that Apple used on the first Mac
