bat

A dark, foggy night. On the right of the painting, a rickety dock extends across greenish fog that covers the water. It is supported by two unsteady-looking pilings. At the very end of the dock is an even more rickety lamppost, from which hangs a glowing greenish lantern. Moss hangs from the underside of the dock. Also hanging from the underside of the dock, like a bat, is an unsettling figure wearing a top hat and coat. Going by the two glowing green eyes under the hat, it is not sleeping. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman". Happy Valentine's Day.

A very small cylindrical building with a conical roof. It looks like the top of a castle turret. On the left side of the building is an open doorway, revealing glowing blue light from within. To the left of the building is a small round sign with the word "Bus" on it. The building is on a raised structure that looks like a bridge that abruptly ends in midair. Below, and all around, is an unending inferno that suggests hell. Below the building are a few tall posts with flames at the top like torches. Circling in the red sky are large batlike creatures. This is what happens when a nation doesn't prioritize public transportation infrastructure. It's a damned shame is what it is.
