A scarecrow-like figure stands in a barren space under a yellowish-pink sky. It looks like a rough cross wearing a thin blue shirt through which the sunlight is shining through. Where its head would be is a black boxy gadget of indeterminate purpose. The gadget has a large green screen or lens, with smaller screens, lights, and dials on it. Wires lead down from the box. A few birds perch on the figure, and more circle in the sky above. In the lower right of the drawing, the sun blazes against the horizon. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".
